The large-scale UAE-Russia Business Forum was held on December 10, 2025 in Dubai. Tremendous interest from businesses in both countries was evidenced by a packed auditorium and a unique energy difficult to put into words!
The central event of the forum was the plenary session "Architecture of a Long-Term Growth: New Opportunities for Both Сountries". The discussion brought together major leaders from both countries: Abdullah Al-Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism of the UAE; Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia; Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Republic of Tatarstan; Sultan Bin Sulayem, CEO of DP World; Mansour Almulla, Deputy CEO of ADQ; Vitaly Sergeychuk from the VTB Management Board; and Alexander Zharov, CEO of Gazprom-Media Holding.
Alexander Vinokurov, Chairman of the Council, centered the discussion on practical instruments to elevate the Russia-UAE partnership to a new level, highlighting concrete mechanisms, growth drivers, and actionable business opportunities.
The panel discussion "UAE–Russia Innovation Track: A New Era of Technological Partnership“ brought together visionaries from Russia and the UAE to discuss the future technological landscape and innovation agenda. Speakers included Mohamed Juma Al Musharakh, Invest in Sharjah CEO; Nabil Arnous, Innovation City CCO; Khalfan Belhoul, Dubai Future Foundation CEO; Dmitry Markov, VisionLabs CEO; Vyacheslav Kubaev, Magnit Tech CEO; Anastasia Stolkova, Director, RK-Medicine Foundation; Jean Fares, Investopia CEO; and Alexey Yuzhakov, Promobot Chairman.
Sergey Zakharov, Partner of Marathon Investment Group, moderated the discussion. The main topic covered technologies and disruptive business models with the greatest potential benefits to the economies of both countries.
The panel discussion "UAE and Russia: Shaping the Ecosystem of Trade and Logistics of the Future" brought together the heads of key trade and logistics companies and institutions including Khalid Al-Marzouki from KEZAD Group; Vladislav Bakhtenko, Grand Trade CEO; Rami Jallad, RAKEZ Group CEO; Nadim Sultan, Emirates Senior VP; and Vladislav Shik Akron Holding CEO.
The discussion was moderated by Sergey Sidorov, FESCO deputy CEO. The main topic concerned the ways to transform the unrealized export potential of Russia and the UAE into specific commodity flows. The discussion covered specifics on products, routes, and logistics solutions.
